Overview

This work is a palace fan embroidery with a peony as the theme element. It cleverly combines a variety of satin stitch embroidery techniques to show a brightly colored and lively peony flower. Using modern technology to make the frame, it becomes an excellent artwork that combines tradition and modernity. This embroidery mainly depicts peonies, which are one of China's traditional famous flowers and one of the national flowers. Peony has a very profound symbolic meaning in Chinese culture, representing prosperity, wealth, nobility, beauty and peace. Recommended for embroidery enthusiasts and collectors, or can be used as a gift.

The cotton thread and cloth have a lovely texture up close, and the framed size at 31.5 by 47.2 inches makes a bold statement on my wall. It's definitely a unique original piece, not some mass-produced print.
